What is the triggering mechanism for Christ's coming for the Church?
Romans 11:25 is presented as the triggering mechanism. The Body of Christ, called out primarily from the Gentiles, must be raptured before God can resume dealing with Israel. No time element is given; the sequence is tied to God's program, not dates.
Les teaches that after Israel rejected the Messiah and Peter’s effort did not turn Israel to repentance, God brought up the Apostle Paul to call out the Body of Christ, primarily from among the Gentiles. Since this calling has nothing to do with the Old Testament program or the tribulation tied to Israel, the Body of Christ is insulated from God’s dealings with Israel either before or after. This is why Les teaches the Rapture: the Body of Christ has to be off the scene before God can pick up dealing with Israel. He then returns to Romans 11:25, which he maintains will be the triggering mechanism for Christ’s coming for the Church, while noting there is no time element.
For I would not, brethren, that ye should be ignorant of this mystery, lest ye should be wise in your own conceits; that blindness in part is happened to Israel, until the fulness of the Gentiles be come in.
