Was the Body of Christ foreshadowed in the Old Testament types?
No. The Old Testament types and shadows were previews of things to come, and they foreshadowed the cross and His resurrection, but not the Body of Christ. The Body is of Christ and was not previewed in those types.
Les teaches that the Old Testament things were a shadow, a preview of things to come, and that the Body is of Christ. He says the Body of Christ did not even have the preview in the types in the Old Testament. The cross did, and His resurrection, but not the Body. He then moves to Colossians 3, where the peace of God rules and believers are called in one body, stressing that God wants instructed, grounded, thankful believers, not ignorant or miserable Christians.
