Where was Paul when he received the further revelations in Ephesians?

Paul received the further revelations recorded in Ephesians while imprisoned in Caesarea, where he had been sitting in prison for a year and a half. Ephesians is classed among the prison epistles, and during that confinement the deeper revelations concerning the Body of Christ were given.

Les teaches that Ephesians is one of the prison epistles and that Paul had further revelations while he was sitting in prison in Caesarea for a year and a half. Because of those deeper things, Ephesians contains more references to the Body of Christ than Romans or Corinthians. This is part of the greater revelation of the believer's position in the Body, which is in Christ, and it connects with Ephesians 4:12 and the perfecting of the saints for the work of the ministry and the edifying of the Body of Christ.
