What is Paul's concept of salvation based on?

Paul's concept of salvation is based on the finished work of the cross: Christ died for our sins, His blood was shed, He was buried, and He rose from the dead for our justification. This revelation was given to Paul and is not found in Scripture until the revelations given to him.

Les explains that Paul was raised up to go to the Gentile world with a whole different concept of salvation. That concept rests on the finished work of the cross—how Christ died for our sins, shed His blood, was buried, and rose again for our justification. Les emphasizes that you won't find this in Scripture until the revelations given to the Apostle Paul. This salvation relates to the Body of Christ, called out from among the Gentile world, which will one day be resurrected in total, and those alive and remain will be changed.
