Where does Paul rehearse the horrible things that happened to him in getting the Gospel to the Gentiles?
Paul rehearses the horrible things that happened to him while getting the Gospel to the Gentiles in 2 Corinthians 10. This suffering fulfilled God’s word to Ananias, that Saul would be shown how great things he must suffer for His name’s sake.
Les teaches that in Acts 9, God sovereignly sends Saul of Tarsus far hence to the Gentiles. God tells Ananias, “I will show Saul how great things he must suffer for My name’s sake,” and Les says that was fulfilled to the last jot and tittle. If you doubt it, Les directs us back to 2 Corinthians 10, where Paul rehearses all the horrible things that happened to him in getting the Gospel out to the Gentiles. At first, however, Saul preached Christ in the synagogues to the Jews, proclaiming Jesus as the Christ, the Son of God, the Messiah of Israel, before he understood the fuller scope of his Gentile commission.
