Was Jesus' redemption only for Israel or for the whole human race?

Christ's redemption was not limited to Israel; it extends to the whole human race. The context states He came and fulfilled God's purposes in bringing about the plan of redemption, not just for Israel, but for the whole human race, and of the whole world.

Les explains that today the Gospel of God's saving grace is proclaimed, how Christ died according to the predetermined counsel of God. He came and fulfilled God's purposes in bringing about the plan of redemption, not just for Israel, but for the whole human race. Les further points out that as soon as God announced to Abraham that through this man He would bring out a separated people and that through this people would come a Redeemer of the whole human race, Satan immediately went into high gear to thwart God's program. Satan has constantly fought God's dealing with the nation of Israel. If Satan could get rid of the Jew and the nation of Israel, then God could not perform His prophecies, because all the prophecies rest on Israel.
