What is missing from Ephesians regarding the Old Testament and the Jew?

Ephesians contains no reference to the Old Testament and no reference to the Jew. It represents higher ground, the Body of Christ territory, focusing on the administration of the fullness of time to gather all things in Christ. Paul's prison letter moves into the higher atmosphere of Christian doctrine and deeper waters.

In Ephesians, Paul writes from prison in Rome and takes readers into the higher atmosphere of Christian doctrine, or deeper waters. This letter has no more reference to the Old Testament and no more reference to the Jew, but is higher ground—the Body of Christ territory. Les explains that Ephesians 1:10 speaks of the dispensation of the administration of the fullness of time, that God might gather together in one all things in Christ, both in heaven and on earth, everything consummated in Him. In Him also we, as Gentile believers especially, have obtained an inheritance, being predestinated according to the purpose of Him who works all things after the counsel of His own will.
