Les Feldick Bible Study

Is there any other name besides Jesus by which people can be saved?

No. The Bible declares there is no other name given among men by which we must be saved than the name of Jesus. Salvation is an exclusivist narrow way prescribed by God, yet it is available to anyone who will simply believe.

Les explains that critics complain about an exclusivist gospel, but he says amen because that is what this book declares. He points to the statement that there is no other name given among men whereby we must be saved than the name of Jesus; outside that name there is no salvation. He acknowledges the way is narrow and many reject it, but insists God is not unfair: He has made salvation available to anybody if they will simply believe. Les also uses John's Gospel, Chapter 10, sheepfold and door analogy: anyone entering must come in by the door; trying another way marks a thief and robber.

Acts 4:12

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.
