What is the primary purpose of all that we do?
Everything we do finds its primary purpose in bringing honor and glory to God. This applies to the local congregation, where all things should be done decently and in order, thereby bringing honor and glory to the God whom we claim to worship.
Les teaches that the primary purpose of all that we do is to bring honor and glory to God. In the local congregation, all things should be done decently and in order because this brings honor and glory to the God whom we claim to worship. He notes that many people take these things out of context and forget this central purpose. The instructions about prophesying and not forbidding the use of languages fit within that same concern: everything is to be done for God's honor and glory.
Let all things be done decently and in order.
