Had the Corinthians heard the gospel before the apostle Paul came to Corinth?

No. The Corinthians had heard none of the gospel before the apostle Paul arrived in Corinth. No one had preceded him to lay groundwork or set the stage. When Paul first came to town, there had never been a word concerning the Gospel of the Grace of God, how Christ had died.

Les teaches that the Corinthians had heard none of this until the apostle Paul came to town. Paul had delivered to them the ordinances, the things he had been taught and delivered, and chapter 15 provides a clear definition of the Gospel that saves a man.
