What does the Bible or Les teach about fire under control?

Fire under control is one of the greatest gifts God has given mankind. It warms homes, provides enjoyment in a fireplace or heater, helps produce steel, and serves as an everyday necessity and blessing. Turned loose as wildfire, however, it brings devastation, tragedy, and destruction.

Les teaches that fire under control is one of the greatest things God has given mankind. It warms the home, and nothing is nicer than a good glowing fireplace or wood heater on a cold winter day. In a steel mill, steel could not be produced without fire. Much of everyday life depends on fire under control, making it an absolute necessity and a blessing of God. But fire turned loose in a wildfire situation produces devastation, tragedy, and destruction. Les uses this as an illustration for sex: under the controls God mandated, it is as glorious as fire in a fireplace, but turned loose as the world has done, it becomes tragedy, ruined lives, ruined families, and ruined marriages because of misappropriating God's gift of sex. This follows the warning that the one who commits fornication sins against his own body.
