Is the marriage relationship between Christ and the bride sexual or positional?
The marriage relationship between Christ and the bride is positional, not sexual. Scripture uses it as an analogy of union with the Lord, where the believer joined to Him is one spirit. It is not a physical or sexual union, because sexual relationships and such earthly things will pass off the scene.
Les explains that when Paul teaches Christ is the groom and the bride, the marriage relationship is merely positional. It certainly is not sexual, because that is going to pass off the scene. In 1 Corinthians 6, Paul stresses that a believer, as a child of God and a member of the Body of Christ, has no right to be joined to a harlot. Any time one goes outside God's bounds for sexuality, it becomes the same thing. Verse 17 says that he who is joined unto the Lord is one spirit. Les also points to Romans chapter 7, where Paul uses the marriage relationship analogy more than once, including Romans 7:4.
