What daily mental and spiritual pressure did Paul bear besides physical suffering?

Besides physical suffering, Paul bore the daily mental and spiritual pressure of the care of all the churches and believers. He was constantly under pressure as congregations sent him problems, the Galatians returned to legalism, and Christianity spread throughout the Roman Empire.

Les explains that on top of Paul’s outward physical suffering—perils, weariness, hunger, thirst, cold, and nakedness—there was an inward daily burden. Paul faced mental and spiritual pressures: the care of all the churches and the believers. He was constantly under pressure because problems kept coming to him, such as a letter from the Corinthians asking what to do about their issues. Then he learned the Galatians were going back into legalism, so he hurriedly wrote the six chapters of the little letter to the Galatians. Over and over, Paul was besieged with the care of Christianity as it began making itself known throughout the Roman Empire.
