How do we know God is in us if we don't feel Him?

We know God dwells in us by faith, not by feeling. His indwelling is not confirmed by sensing Him move in or around; it rests on what Scripture declares. Because the Book says He is there, believers accept it as true, even when they do not feel Him moving within.

Les explains that this truth is a completely new doctrine in Scripture, not found in the Old Testament, not taught by Jesus, and not taught by Peter—only Paul. God Himself is dwelling in this body. Les says it must be taken by faith: if you did not feel Him move in, you do not feel Him moving around in you, but He is there because the Book says He is. Even the carnal Corinthians, still on milk and unable to eat strong meat, were temples of the living God.

1 Corinthians 3:16

Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?
