What did Paul and Barnabas do in Lystra according to Acts 14?

According to Acts 14:12, Paul and Barnabas came into Lystra, one of the little towns or villages Paul visited during his earthly ministry. While in Lystra, they performed a miracle. The passage notes that the same Greek word protos is used there as in Luke 22:26.

Les teaches that in Acts 14:12, Paul and Barnabas had come into Lystra, one of the little towns or villages Paul visited during his earthly ministry, and while there they performed a miracle. Les points out that the same Greek word protos appears in this verse. He explains that protos means prestigious, someone in leadership or at the head of the line, not intrinsically wicked. This connects to Luke 22:26, where Jesus said the greatest should be as the younger and the chief as one who serves. So in Lystra, Paul and Barnabas performed a miracle, and the text uses protos in that account.

Acts 14:12

And they called Barnabas, Jupiter; and Paul, Mercurius, because he was the chief speaker.
