Was Paul's teaching inspired by the Holy Spirit or by human intellect?

Paul's teaching was inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, not by the natural, intellectual aspect of men's thinking. All that he taught and spoke forth came from the Spirit, contrasting with human intellect. This distinction remains true today, as human think tanks and great intellectual minds often reject God's Word as foolishness.

Les explains that Paul brought out that all the things he taught and spoke forth were inspired by the Holy Spirit of God, not the natural, intellectual aspect of men's thinking. Les emphasizes what a difference this is, and notes it hasn't changed today. He points to the think tanks and great intellectual minds the media expounds on, asking how much of the Word of God they put on national television—none. To those moguls, Scripture is foolishness and has nothing to do with everyday man, but Les says it's the other way around: once you understand the Word of God, you get an understanding of almost everything. He also connects this to the spiritual person, regenerated by God's work and power through believing the Gospel, who discerns all things.
