Why are we born spiritually dead according to Les Feldick?
We are born spiritually dead because Adam, the federal head of the human race, plunged everyone into that state through trespasses and sin. Paul describes believers as once dead in trespasses and sin but made alive spiritually as a result of salvation.
Les explains from Ephesians 2:1 that Paul writes to the Ephesian believers, reminding them they were dead in trespasses and sin but have been made alive spiritually as a result of their salvation. Les then asks how we got there and answers that we were born in it. Adam, as the federal head of the human race, plunged every one of us into that kind of state, so we are born spiritually dead.
