What did the revealed wisdom say about who Jesus was?

The revealed wisdom declared that Christ was the Son of God, the Messiah, and the King of Israel. His own people rejected Him and crucified Him, yet this was part of God's eternal plan for the ages to purchase salvation for every human being who would respond.

Les explains that this revealed wisdom identified Christ as the Son of God, the Messiah, and the King of Israel, though His own people rejected Him and crucified Him. It was all part of God's eternal plan for the ages so that salvation could be purchased for every human being who would respond. Les further explains that this wisdom was not known by the princes of this world; the word knew meant more than casual recognition. They did not know Him as the Son of God, the Messiah of Israel, neither the leaders of Israel nor Rome. Had the leaders of Israel, the high priest, or the Pharisees known who Jesus of Nazareth really was, they would never have cried for His death. Pilate came close, finding no fault in the man and receiving his wife's dream warning, but he did not see it and put his stamp on the crucifixion. Thus the princes and leaders of that then-known world did not know who Jesus of Nazareth was, and consequently they crucified Him.
