Can I judge fellow believers whose lifestyle I disagree with?

No. Scripture says believers are not to judge fellow believers whose lifestyle they disagree with. Paul writes, “let not him who eateth not, judge him who eateth.” A believer may point to Scripture, but cannot judge another person, because God has received him and the one who died for him is Judge.

Les teaches that Paul absolutely rejects judging another believer out of hand. In the context of meat, some were saying that if you eat meat, you are a testimony of evil. But Paul says, “let not him who eateth not, judge him who eateth.” Les connects this to Romans 8: no one can judge us in anything, because the one who died for me is the judge. Les explains that when you come into contact with other believers who may not live the lifestyle you think they should, you are in no position to judge. You may be able to point them from some things in Scripture, but you cannot judge another person. Paul uses the everyday example of a servant: you do not judge another man’s servant because you are not his boss and you are not paying his wages. God has received him, and God is the one who will do it. So judgment belongs to God, not to fellow believers.
