Why did God give spiritual gifts to every member of the Body of Christ?
God gave spiritual gifts to every member of the Body of Christ to fulfill His purpose. These gifts are imparted to each believer, and many function most effectively within the local Body of Christ, though their use is not confined there; a believer can use his or her gift anywhere and anytime.
Les teaches from Romans chapter 12 about the gifts that God has imparted to every member of the Body of Christ to fulfill His purpose. Many of these gifts are most functional within the local Body of Christ, within the local church, but that does not confine them. A believer can use his or her gift anywhere, anytime. The context then moves into the believer’s attitude toward those around them, not just in the local church but in the community as a whole.
