Who can touch the invisible part of a person's make-up—can any preacher, priest, or denomination?

Les teaches that the believer has been transformed and metamorphosed, like a cocoon becoming a butterfly, and Paul reminds us of this. We are to be different from what we were before, but this transformation does not come by works. Using the dead car battery illustration, Les explains that washing the outside of the battery cannot put a charge in it; power must come from an outside source. Likewise, people try to clean up their own act to appease God, but works religion is doomed to failure. No human being can go into the invisible part of a man's make-up and touch it.
