What happens when a believer comes out from the world's system?
When a believer comes out from the world's system, they become marked people whom the world recognizes. The world system is under Satan's control, and separation from it brings visible distinction. This aligns with Paul's plea not to be conformed to this world but to be transformed.
Les explains that Paul beseeches believers to present their bodies as a living sacrifice, not being conformed to Satan's mold. The world system is under the control of the wicked one, and as soon as believers come away from it, they become marked people; the world knows them. This separation is not forced but is a freewill response led by the Holy Spirit. Just as jello takes the shape of its mold, so being conformed means being poured into Satan's mold. The opposite of conformity is transformation.
And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.
