What does the third day in Hosea 6:2 represent?

The third day in Hosea 6:2 represents the kingdom age, coming after the two thousand years pictured by the first two days. It points to the time when God will raise up Israel, and they will live in His sight, with the Lord ruling from Jerusalem in their midst.

Les explains that prophetic days are a thousand years each, citing Peter, so the first two days represent 2,000 years. After that period, God will revive Israel. The third day then takes you into the kingdom age. In that day God will raise them up, and they will live in His sight. He will be ruling from Jerusalem, right there in their midst. Verse 3 describes Israel entering that kingdom economy and knowing the Lord, with His going forth prepared as the morning.

Hosea 6:2

After two days will he revive us: in the third day he will raise us up, and we shall live in his sight.
