What does God expect us to do with the message that Christ died for our sins and rose again?
God expects us to believe the message that Christ died for our sins and rose from the dead. When we believe it with all our heart, God opens our whole ability to believe, comes in, makes us a new person, and these things become easy to comprehend.
Les teaches that when Scripture says Christ died for your sins and rose from the dead, what God expects us to do with it is believe it. When we believe it with all our heart, God opens up our whole ability to believe. He comes in, makes us a new person, and all these things become easy to comprehend, which before were hard to comprehend. This mercy is not limited; God concluded Israel in unbelief because of their total rejection so that He might have mercy upon all—Jew and Gentile, the whole human race.
