Why is God not pouring out His wrath right now on man's sin?

God withholds His wrath now because He is patient, gracious, and kind, letting man take his own way. As He gave the Canaanites 400 years until their iniquity was full, He is allowing the Gentile world to continue until the times of the Gentiles run their course, then tribulation comes.

Les explains that God is patient tonight, gracious, and kind, letting man take his own way. He points to the Canaanites, whom God gave 400 years to straighten up, but they went deeper into wickedness until their iniquity was full; then Joshua was told to destroy them. The Gentile world is fast approaching the same place. The press ridicules the idea of God's wrath, but Scripture says there is a day coming when the 'until' happens and the times of the Gentiles run their course. Then the last seven years of tribulation come, with horrors beyond human description, especially the last three and a half years. These parallel Gentile groups—the Church as the fullness of the Gentiles and ungodly Gentiledom—run concurrently, and human history shows misery, war, famine, disease, and despair, culminating in that final seven years before Christ returns.
