When did God finally reveal the secrets He had kept hidden all through human history?
God revealed the secrets He had kept hidden throughout human history when He called the Apostle Paul to be the Apostle of the Gentiles. Paul's gospel came according to the revelation of the mystery, which had been kept secret since the ages began.
Les teaches that these secrets were held all the way up through human history and were revealed only when God called the Apostle Paul to be the Apostle of the Gentiles. In Romans 16:25, Paul describes his gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ as being according to the revelation of the mystery, which was kept secret since the world or the ages began. Les connects this to Deuteronomy 29:29, showing that God can keep things secret as long as He wants, but once He reveals it, then it becomes the human responsibility to believe it. He also notes that these revealed secrets are basic to all of the Pauline doctrines and, though they are different concepts, they are all part of that revelation of the mystery.
