What do pagan religions do to their people?

Pagan religions keep their people subservient, in ignorance, and in superstition. They leave people bound under superstitions and hang-ups, including detriment to women. Christianity, by contrast, set people free and loosed them from such conditions, rather than keeping them in that state.

Les explains that pagan religions do nothing but keep their people subservient, in ignorance, and in superstition. By contrast, Christianity set people free; it loosed them from the superstitions of the pagan world, from hang-ups, and from the detriment to women. He points to Western civilization's progress and says we should thank the Lord to have been brought under Christian influence rather than under pagan religions that hold people in that condition.
