What is at the core of pagan religion?
Mysteries are at the core of pagan religion. These mysteries are understood only by the inner sanctum, while the people out on the fringe do not even know what the mysteries are. This hidden knowledge at the center defines the pagan system.
Les explains that when you go into pagan religions, mysteries are always at the core. The mysteries are the things that only the inner sanctum has any comprehension of. The people out on the fringe do not even know what the mysteries are, but the people at the center do. So pagan religion is characterized by hidden mysteries known only to an inner group.
