What did the Gospel to the Gentiles require?

The Gospel to the Gentiles required only belief—faith in what God accomplished through the Roman cross. It demanded no work, no religion, no ritual, and no priesthood. It was sent out free for nothing, so that no one, Jew or Gentile, could claim they failed to measure up or attain it.

Les explains that because Israel rejected her King, Messiah, and Redeemer, God turned to the Gentiles with a program of grace unheard of. Beyond human comprehension, the Holy, Righteous God of Glory used the awful Roman cross to bring a Gospel sent to Gentiles free for nothing. It required no work, no religion, no ritual, no priesthood—it merely had to be believed. Many cannot comprehend it because it is too simple, but God intended it so no one, Jew or Gentile, could ever say they couldn't measure up, reach, or attain it.

Romans 11:11
