How must both Jews and Gentiles come to God?

Both Jews and Gentiles must come to God by faith, and faith alone. Salvation is faith plus nothing; if any works are added, it becomes a works religion, not grace. Since works cannot be grace, all people must come God's way through faith.

Les explains that Paul has been emphasizing since Romans that salvation is faith plus nothing, or it is no salvation at all. As soon as anything, even something small, is attached to the gospel of grace, it becomes a works religion. Christianity today is inundated with works religion in various subtle forms, such as the New Age influence a lady in his class experienced before the Lord opened her eyes. All such things are based on works, and when it is works it cannot be grace. Therefore, whether Jew or Gentile, if it is works, it is not grace; everyone must come God's way, which is by faith and faith alone.
