What was Paul's message to the Gentiles based on?

Paul’s message to the Gentiles was based on salvation through Jesus of Nazareth, a Jew. He declared that the God of Israel had sent him far hence to the Gentiles, and that Moses had foretold other nations would come into fellowship with Israel’s God.

Les explains that Paul’s message to the Gentiles centered on salvation based upon Jesus of Nazareth, who was a Jew. When Paul mentioned the word "Gentile" to the Jerusalem crowd, they listened until that word, then cried, "Away with such a fellow from the earth," because he had dared to use it. Paul reminded them that Moses had prophesied another nation would come into fellowship with their God, and Israel would hate them for it. Les notes that the more Gentiles accepted the Gospel, the more the Jewish people fought it, except for a few, and that same resistance continues today, as seen in Israel’s Law of Return, which keeps out Christians and Jewish believers in Christ.
