Who is God primarily calling out today in the age of grace?
In this age of grace, God is primarily calling out Gentiles, though a few Jews are also included. The door remains open to Israel, but most are blinded and cannot see that the One their forefathers crucified is the One they must come to for salvation even today.
Les explains that during the Old Testament period God dealt primarily with the nation of Israel—Jew only, with exceptions—such as Jonah sent to Nineveh, Naaman the Syrian, and Ruth the Moabite. But now, in this age of grace, the situation has flip-flopped. God is primarily calling out Gentiles, but a few Jews as well. It is not many, but the door is still open to them. God has not closed the door on the Jew, yet most are so blinded that they cannot see the One whom their forefathers crucified is the One to whom they must come for salvation even today. Thus it is now primarily Gentiles and a few Jews, and in this age of grace there is no difference, for the same Lord over all is rich unto all that call upon Him.
