Is believing in Jesus just head knowledge, or does it require heart belief?

Believing in Jesus is not just head knowledge; it requires believing with all the heart that Christ is who He said He was—the Son of God and the Messiah of Israel—who died in our place, shed His atoning blood, was buried, and arose from the grave. Such belief makes Him precious.

Les explains that we are to believe, but not merely with head knowledge. We must really with all our heart believe that Christ was who He said He was: the Son of God and the Messiah of Israel. It does not stop there—He went to the cross, died in our place, shed the atoning blood, was buried, and arose in power and glory from the grave. To those who believe, He is precious; to the disobedient who refuse to believe, the stone which the builders disallowed is made the head of the corner and becomes a stone of stumbling.
