Does Les believe we should force the gospel on people?
No. Forcing the gospel on people is explicitly rejected; grabbing someone by the neck and shoving it down their throat will not work. Instead, believers should be ready to share their faith when the Lord provides an opening, speaking naturally as opportunity arises, not coercing anyone.
Les explains that he never ascribes to forcing anything on people. He does not go along with grabbing people by the nape of the neck and trying to shove the gospel down their throat, because it won't work. But when the Lord gives you an opportunity, when someone gives you an opening with maybe just a word or two, then be ready to give the hope of your faith. He also encourages believers to talk about the things of the Lord as easily as they talk about the weather, since it becomes that big a part of them, and to be ready to share it with anybody that will listen.
