Was Martin Luther right in his view of the Jews as Christ killers?

No. Martin Luther's view that Jews were Christ killers and that God was through with them is not according to Scripture. Paul teaches Jew and Gentile alike are under sin and in need of salvation, with no difference; salvation is offered on the same level playing field.

Les explains that many in Christendom believe God is through with the Jew because they were the Christ killers, rejected their Messiah, and were sent into dispersion with their temple destroyed. Les notes Martin Luther was a detester of the Jews from a religious point of view because he felt they had killed the Messiah. But Les says that is not according to Scripture. Luther may have come up with other good concepts, but he was out in left field on that one. Romans chapter 10 deals with the Jew in this present age and applies to us, because salvation is now offered on the same level playing field. A Jew does not have an advantage over the Gentile, nor is he disadvantaged. Both are alike, all under sin, all in need of salvation, and there is no difference. Paul writes this to Gentiles.
