What does Les say about the potential number of ova and sperm in human reproduction?
The illustration states that every human female has the potential to produce thousands upon thousands of ova, and every human male has the potential for billions upon billions of sperm. This vast capacity illustrates the scale of human reproductive potential.
Les recounts an illustration he read years ago, which he initially almost shook his head at in unbelief but now believes more as he thinks about it. The illustration says that within the human reproduction system, every female of the human species has within her body the potential to produce thousands upon thousands of ova. Within every human male is the potential for billions upon billions of sperm. Les uses this as an analogy of how God's sovereignty in grace works.
