Les Feldick Bible Study

Does being rich or poor, black or white, bond or free determine whether you are saved?

No. Being rich or poor, black or white, bond or free does not determine salvation. The real distinction is between the lost, natural element and the saved, spiritual element. Every person falls into one of those two groups; social or economic status is irrelevant to whether one is saved.

Les explains that from the beginning of human history there have primarily been two groups of people: the lost, which are by far the greatest number, and the believers, the saved of the ages. That same division exists today. It does not make any difference whether a person is black and white, rich or poor, bond or free. Each person is either in the lost, natural element or in the spiritual element. Salvation is not determined by those external categories.
