How was Jesus both human and divine in His birth — what did He get from Mary and what from the Father?

Jesus was born of the human element through Mary, while from the Father He received the divine attribute of incorruption. His body did not suffer corruption in the tomb, and His blood was not corrupted; it was divine and sinless, enabling Him to pay the sin debt.

Les explains that Christ was born of the human element, Mary, but from the Father He received the divine attribute of incorruption. Because of that, His body did not suffer corruption in the tomb; His blood was not corrupted, but was divine and sinless. Otherwise, it could never have paid the sin debt owed by humanity. Les also connects this to the angel's announcement to Mary that she would conceive and bear a son named Jesus, meaning Yeshua, the Savior, and to Paul's introduction of the gospel promised beforehand by the prophets in the Holy Scriptures.
