Is there room in true Christianity for high priest robes and miters?

No. Under the age of grace, true Christianity has no room for the robes, miters, or religious practices of the high priests. There is likewise no room for feast days, holy days, Christmas, or Easter, which are not biblical and stem from paganism or Old Testament Judaism. Colossians 2:14 is referenced in this connection.

Les teaches that in the age of grace believers have no right whatsoever to bring religious practices into their system of worship. He says there is no room in true Christianity for all the robes and miters and so forth that the high priests used, nor for feast days and holy days. He notes that Christmas and Easter are not biblical, that nothing in the Book gives the right to celebrate certain high days or the birth of Christ or to make Easter a special holy day, and that these come out of paganism and Old Testament Judaism. He directs listeners to Colossians chapter 2, verse 14, stressing that we are not to incorporate any of the services of Judaism into the church age.
