Can anyone infringe on or invade Israel's unique position before God?
No. Israel's unique position as God's chosen, set-apart nation cannot be infringed or invaded by anyone. Scripture calls Israel a holy people whom the Lord chose to be a special people unto Himself, above all people on the face of the earth.
Les teaches that Israel's standing is positional: the nation has been positioned as a unique, set-aside nation of people. He explains that no one can infringe on that, and no one can invade the position that only the nation of Israel of all the people of the world enjoy. He then points to Deuteronomy 7:6, where Moses writes to the Jew, to the nation of Israel, that they are a holy people unto the Lord their God. The Lord their God chose them to be a special people unto Himself, above all people upon the face of the earth. This confirms Israel's unique, chosen position before God cannot be taken or invaded by others.
