What does Jesus mean when He says He will in no wise cast out the one who comes to Him?
Jesus means that everyone the Father gives Him and who therefore comes to Him will never be rejected. Coming results from God's first move, not human initiative; no chosen or elected person sent by the Father will ever be cast out. His promise is absolute: "I will in no wise cast out."
Les explains John 6:37 where Jesus says, "All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out." He asks who makes the first move, and answers that God does. Les warns against anyone saying to seek after God, because it is impossible for an unbeliever to seek God or run after Him; if someone suddenly has an appetite for the things of God, God put it there first. Even during Jesus' earthly ministry, God made the first move. The one who comes as a result of God's moving him will in no wise ever be cast out. Les says this means that anybody God has chosen, elected, and sent to Him would never be cast out, and that means what it says. He then moves to John 10:28.
All that the Father giveth me shall come to me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.
