Do the powers in Satan's realm ever run out of energy?
No. The powers in Satan’s realm are positioned and loaded with energy that seemingly never runs out. Paul describes principalities and powers whose position and energy work to draw believers away from the love of Christ, and Ephesians 6 speaks of wrestling against these principalities and powers.
Les explains that Paul is declaring that principalities, their position, and the energy that comes from that position will do everything they can to take us away from the love of Christ. He also points to Ephesians 6, where the same general thought is used: we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. There the Greek word for power is a little different—it does not speak of energy, but of power like Jesus gave the twelve when they went out and could perform miracles. Even so, the powers in Satan’s realm are positioned and loaded with energy that seemingly never runs out.
For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.
