What are the demonic powers in Satan's realm like?
The powers in Satan's realm are principalities and powers that are positioned and loaded with energy that seemingly never runs out. They work to take us away from the love of Christ. In Ephesians 6, the same term also carries the sense of miraculous power given to the twelve.
Les explains that Paul is describing principalities, the position they hold, and the energy that comes from that position. Those powers do everything they can to take us away from the love of Christ. He then connects this to Ephesians 6, where the same word is used: we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities and powers. There the Greek word for power is a little different, and it does not speak of energy but of power like Jesus gave to the twelve when they went out and could perform miracles. Even so, the powers in Satan's realm are positioned and loaded with energy that seemingly never runs out.
