What was Jesus' whole purpose in coming?

Jesus' whole purpose in coming was to descend to man's level, taking on the likeness of sinful flesh, so that He might condemn sin and the old Adam—the flesh. As Creator God entering the human frame, He dealt with the fallen nature by condemning it.

Les teaches that God sent His own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh. Jesus Christ was the Creator God of Genesis 1, the One who spoke the universe into being and formed Adam from the dust. Les explains that Christ's whole purpose in coming was to get right down at man's level, in man's frame of flesh, that He might condemn sin and the flesh. He condemned the old Adam, dealing with the fallen nature. Les admits this is something he cannot comprehend except through the eyes of faith.
