Who has blinded the minds of them who believe not?

The god of this world is the one who blinds unbelievers. Scripture declares in II Corinthians 4:4 that he has blinded the minds of those who believe not. This blindness affects the lost, those who will not believe, not merely those outside church membership or Bible reading.

Les teaches that mankind is under the curse and under the power and control of satanic powers. He directs attention to II Corinthians 4:3-4, where the text says that if the gospel is hid, it is hid to them that are lost—the world outside, going up and down in its busy lifestyle. Verse 4 states that the God of this world has blinded the minds of them who believe not. Les stresses that this is not about people who have not joined a church or do not read their Bible; it is those who will not believe. That is simple.

2 Corinthians 4:4

In whom the god of this world hath blinded the minds of them which believe not, lest the light of the glorious gospel of Christ, who is the image of God, should shine unto them.
