Where is Christ bodily now, and can He leave that place?
Christ is bodily at the Father's right hand, and He cannot leave that bodily position. When Scripture speaks of Christ dwelling in believers, it refers to the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit, not to Christ leaving His bodily place at the Father's right hand.
Les explains that Christ and this body of believers become one, just as a husband and wife come together and become one. He notes that not only are we in Christ, but He is in us, and the world knows nothing of this. Quoting 1 Corinthians 3:16, Les says believers are the temple or dwelling place of God, and the Spirit of God dwells in them. Therefore, when we say Christ dwells in us, Christ is bodily at the Father's right hand and cannot leave that bodily; His indwelling is through the third person of the Trinity, the Holy Spirit.
