How does studying the Bible change your view of the person on the cross?

Les teaches that the world is full of religion, and even Western cultures that base much on this book are often totally ignorant of who Jesus Christ really is. He recalls that when he first stated Jesus Christ was the creator of Genesis 1, mouths dropped, and people later asked if he was sure. But the more you get into this book, the more convinced you become that the one who hung on that Roman cross created the wood it was made of, the mount on which it was planted, and all the hosts of heaven. This recognition contrasts with the lost at the great white throne, who will be speechless and sent to their doom because they refuse to recognize who He really is.
