Les Feldick Bible Study

What did God know would happen to the nation of Israel during the dispersion?

God knew Israel would become a wandering people without a homeland, persecuted and driven from place to place. Yet He also foreknew that after centuries of dispersion they would return to the LORD, obey His voice, and be gathered back from all nations where He had scattered them.

Les teaches that God knew the nation of Israel would become what we call the wandering Jew, without a homeland, persecuted, and driven from one place to the other. But God also promised that after they had been dispersed for centuries, He would turn their captivity, have compassion on them, and gather them from all the nations where He had scattered them. Many Jews lost sight of that promise, but many did not, and in our own generation God's Word has been proven true as He brings them back from every nation under heaven. Les notes that Jews have come to Israel from 133 different sovereign nations, while some nations like Albania no longer have a Jew among their citizenry, and only a few hundred remain in Syria.
