What is all creation waiting for according to Romans 8?
All creation is waiting for the day when Christ will rule as King of Kings, and the children of God will rule and reign with Him, exercising dominion over a glorious new creation delivered from the bondage of corruption and restored as it was before Adam fell.
Les explains that creation itself shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption and will be restored as it was before Adam fell. Before Adam sinned, nothing ate meat or killed another species for its livelihood; everything ate what grew naturally—grass, herbs, nuts, and berries. So it will be when the Kingdom is set up. Les reads verse 21 again: creation shall be delivered from the bondage of corruption, and the children of God will gain control of it. When you become a believer, you become a child of God. Therefore all creation waits for the day when Christ will rule as King of Kings, and believers will be ruling and reigning with Him, in dominion over this glorious new creation brought out from underneath the curse. Verse 22 adds that the whole creation groaneth and travaileth in pain until now.
