Was the gospel planned before creation?
Yes. The gospel was pre-planned before anything was ever created. God determined that He would create man, man would sin and need a Savior and Redeemer, and God set everything in motion to bring about Christ’s crucifixion, resurrection, and heavenly revelation of the gospel: Christ died for our sins.
Les teaches that this was all pre-planned before anything was ever created. God would create man, man would sin, and man would find himself in need of a Savior and a Redeemer. God then set everything in motion, bringing about Christ in His earthly ministry, His crucifixion, and His resurrection from the dead. Christ was brought back into the very portals of heaven, and from there He revealed these things Paul calls the Secrets, or the Mysteries. The very core of that revelation is the Gospel: that Christ died for our sins.
